A repaired Filson rucksack with thick bridle leather, talon zippers, and brass hardware

One of the cooler old-timey types of bags, this Filson bag is made in their rugged twill material. Mine was made in the 90s with talon zippers, which are fairly coveted within the Filson secondhand market.

A very old American company with roots dating back over 125 years, Filson still makes some of their stuff in the USA, which is definitely cool.

This bag was also repaired by Filson's repair department, along with a Smokey Bear cap that I have. Solid work, and almost every Filson item is guaranteed for the life of the item — not the person.
