Leather jackets are probably the most expensive investment you're likely to make when it comes to clothing, and usually it's not an expense people want to pay.

One of the better options is just thrifting a vintage jacket, or something slightly used (or for those that like the pre-distressed stuff, spend less on a well-used one — they'll be a lot cheaper as long as they're not from prominent vintage names).
