Double-front denim by Indigosea
Not only affordable, but built to last a long time — fading into your own unique denim
When I was offered to feature a pair of indigo double-fronts, I didn't hesitate for a second: I don't own any double-front pants and they've always been something I've wanted.
The name is simple: on the front of the pants, you have the same material stitched atop, creating a doubled material. This not only enhances the durability from kneeling and harsh environmental brush , but also adds cool points.
At what the typical person might consider a hefty weight, 15.5 oz, these pants are built to last. That's heavier than the Wrangler 13MWZ without even considering the doubled material on the front.
My favorite thing about these fashionable work pants?
I honestly love the front pockets — they're large but not too large to where your watch gets caught at the opening if you put your hands all the way in.
The front of the pockets are lined with a nice cotton lining while your palms rest on the stiff, beautiful denim. Since the pocket is "patched" on, you don't the cotton bag you can pull out like you would a traditional pair of jeans.
Suitable for denimheads, working people, or anything in between
Whether you're a denimhead that likes to fade their jeans beautifully, or a working person that just needs a quality, nice-looking pair of pants that will do the job, these are absolutely it.
- They'll last longer than most jeans
- They have magnificent fade potential because of uniqueness of the build, plus the natural indigo
Indigosea mentions you shouldn't wash them for 60+ days — if you want high-contrasting fades, this is absolutely the way to go.
If you just want a nice pair of pants that you want to keep clean? Wash 'em, there's no harm. Vintage fades are a thing too, and can look just as good if not better than high-contrast fades.
Bottom line
I'm excited to wear the heck out of these and see how they age.
Much like my other denim items, I'm curious to see how these morph over time; they'll take the shape of my body, the fades will start to show their uniqueness, and the pants will continue looking better during the entire process.
